Dance Lessons: Heart
I’m beginning the new year by taking classes in waltz and Ignatian prayer. It seems an odd pairing, but one helps me process the other as I apply what I learn in the prayer closet as well the dance studio. This week, a prayer class assignment helped me understand my struggle on the dance floor.
My assignment was to read Galatians chapter five and take notes in my journal. Here the Apostle Paul writes about the believer’s freedom in Christ, and how easily one can forfeit this gift. His words are sharp: those who try to justify themselves by keeping the law, by doing the right thing, have cut themselves off from Christ. They have “fallen from grace.” (Read rest of post here.)
